When We Were Dead

When We Were Dead:

Sun Was hiding into the clouds
Black birds flew over the graveyard
I was feeling half dead inside
Without knowing you were half alive

Who is knocking on the door?

Whati is this scent of lilies?
Where does it come from?
Darkness is breaking down
My soul escapes the eternal cage

I squatted on your gravestone
Full of ivy, oblivion and frost
My hand uncovered your sad name
Someone who left ages ago

Welcome, sorroful girl

Why are you alone in here,
So far and near?
I'm now just behind you
Let me embrace your living corpse

Suddenly an invisible touch

Held me close and breathed: "oh, my love"
I turned round but no one was here
My heart rushed with wonder and fear

{Élahé}
